QualitySmith Selected One of Washington's Best 100 Companies to Work For
WALLA WALLA, WASH.—QualitySmith, Inc., an online service-professional finder company for home and auto owners, was selected by Washington CEO Magazine as one of Washington's Best 100 Companies to Work For.
"In an extensive survey of employees conducted by Washington CEO Magazine, QualitySmith scored 8.75 on a scale of 10, an impressive score that placed the company 9th in the medium-sized category of the magazine’s list of Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For competition,” said Leslie Helm, Executive Editor of Washington CEO. This was the first year QualitySmith had been considered for this award.
Eighty percent of QualitySmith employees joined the over 12,700 employees in Washington State who rated their companies anonymously in a survey as part of the judging process. To place in the top 100, companies had to receive top marks from their employees in 10 categories comprising every aspect of corporate culture and policy. Each company also had to place well in an evaluation by a panel of five judges.
The list of winners included breakthrough online firms such as real estate website Zillow.com and established industry giants such as Allstate Insurance and Brooks Sports. One other Walla Walla company, Baker Boyer Bank, was included on the list.
The winners were honored at a gala dinner in Seattle on June 28. The results of the survey were published in the July issue of Washington CEO Magazine."
"This award is a real honor," said Rob Schmidt, president of QualitySmith. "We've only been in business for five years, and we've doubled in size in the last year. That kind of growth can be really hard on a company's culture. But our employees have made QualitySmith a wonderful place to work. They're always rolling up their sleeves and diving into new projects with enthusiasm."
